How Can I Help?

As a not-for-profit organization, CIFIB uses every dollar of fees and donations to develop, deploy, manage, and maintain the CIFIB network. Besides equipment costs, CIFIB provides insurance for sites and for the content.

Volunteer

CIFIB is looking for motivated volunteers to help with RF engineering and software development. If you are driven to bring weather and traffic into the cockpit for safer aviation in Canada, contact us at info@cifib.ca.

Support a CIFIB Ground Station Site

Work with a local pilot or aviation group to identify and propose a location for a CIFIB ground station. Raise funds with that group to support the one-time cost of installation of the ground station, and the annual cost of operating the station.

For more information about setting up a site, read the FAQ, or send a message to info@cifib.ca.

Support the CIFIB Network

You can also support CIFIB directly by making a one-time or recurring donation. Your donation will be used to lower costs generally across the network.
